Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actress and member of SSC's board since 2011, is the Founding co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As Artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. Although she usually led from within her acting ensemble, in her last year of work with SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
